AgroCapital Microcredit Opens New Branch in Kakibwa

Kakibwa, Uganda – May 2, 2025 — AgroCapital Microcredit Uganda has once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting financial inclusion by officially opening a new branch office in Kakibwa Village, part of the Greater Kibaale region, which includes Kakumiro, Kagadi, and Kibaale districts.

The milestone event took place on Saturday, May 2, 2025, as senior managers from AgroCapital visited the area to inaugurate the new office. This branch aims to expand access to financial services for smallholder farmers, traders, and micro-entrepreneurs across the region.

The delegation was led by Directors Barbra Katasi and Dukuzumuremyi Onesphore, accompanied by Ntagengerwa Straton, a key member of the operational staff. The local community welcomed the team with excitement and appreciation. Community leaders and representatives from various sectors were in attendance, reflecting the significance of AgroCapital’s presence in the region.

In her speech, Director Barbra Katasi reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to empowering underserved communities. “We believe Kakibwa has tremendous potential, and we are here to walk this journey together toward sustainable economic empowerment,” she stated.

The new branch will provide a variety of client-focused microfinance services, including mobile money operations, agricultural loans, business financing, and tailored savings programs. The team pledged to maintain a client-first approach, with an emphasis on quick service delivery, personalised financial guidance, and community-driven solutions. Local residents expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the branch will ease access to much-needed financial services, previously available only in distant towns.

Many small-scale business owners shared that the office will play a vital role in growing their businesses and improving livelihoods. The launch concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a guided office tour, and meaningful engagements between AgroCapital staff and the community.

AgroCapital Microcredit Uganda continues to expand its footprint across the country, driven by a mission to build stronger, more self-reliant communities through inclusive and innovative financial solutions.
